Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information v4d (v4d.iminipro.com) comes into contact with when you use it, how it is used, and how long it is kept. v4d is a lightweight tool designed to collect as little as possible.
1. Scope
This policy covers the v4d website and its API (/api/v1/info, /api/v1/download). It does not cover processing that happens when you visit third-party platforms such as X.
2. Information We Handle
The URL you submit
The URL you paste and submit is sent to our server so it can be parsed or proxied. A URL may itself contain identifying information such as a post ID or author handle.
Operational logs
To diagnose faults and prevent abuse, the server records one summary line per request containing: timestamp, request method, path, response status code, duration, and the first 200 characters of the submitted URL.
v4d's own application logs do not record your IP address. The server or reverse proxy hosting this site may record access IPs and User-Agent strings as part of routine network operations.
Parse cache
Parse results are cached in the server's memory for a short period (about 5 minutes by default) to speed up repeat queries. The cache is not written to a database and is lost when the service restarts.
Downloaded files
By default, downloads are streamed through: the file passes through our server straight to you and is not retained. If download persistence is enabled on the server, media files are kept on disk so that repeat requests for the same file do not have to fetch it again.
3. What We Do Not Do
- We do not require registration or login, so we collect no name, email, password, or payment details;
- We do not use tracking cookies and do not build user profiles;
- Our pages load no third-party analytics, advertising, or social plug-in scripts;
- We do not sell or share the information you submit with third parties.
4. Relationship with Third-Party Platforms
Parsing and download requests are made by the v4d server to source platforms such as X (Twitter) and their CDNs. As a result, those platforms and CDNs normally see the v4d server's outbound IP rather than yours. How they handle those requests is outside v4d's control and is governed by their own privacy policies.
5. Retention
Operational logs are used only for troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention, and are rotated as part of routine operations; complete URLs are not kept long-term. The cache is cleared when the service restarts. Where persistence is enabled, media files remain on the server's disk and we do not currently set an automatic deletion time for them.
6. Your Choices
You can stop using the service at any time. If you would like to inquire about or request deletion of logs relating to you, email copyright@iminipro.com with "Privacy" in the subject line, including the relevant URL and approximate time of access so we can locate the records.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date shown at the top of this page.
