Acceptable Use Policy
v4d is intended for lawful and responsible use. This policy supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Permitted Uses
You may use v4d for legitimate purposes such as retrieving media that:
- you own or have permission to download;
- you are authorised to archive, back up, or process; or
- you are otherwise legally permitted to access and use.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use v4d to:
- infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
- download or redistribute content without authorisation;
- facilitate piracy or unauthorised content distribution;
- circumvent DRM, paywalls, authentication, or access controls;
- abuse or overload third-party services;
- interfere with the operation of v4d or its infrastructure;
- conduct fraud, harassment, impersonation, or other unlawful activities;
- download or distribute content whose use is prohibited by applicable law; or
- use automated requests in a manner that creates excessive load or attempts to bypass service limitations.
3. User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for their use of content retrieved through v4d. Downloading content through v4d does not give the user any copyright or other rights in that content.
The availability of content does not mean that v4d, or the platform it came from, has authorised you to download, copy, or redistribute it.
4. Limits and Enforcement
v4d may introduce technical limits, rate limits, or other safeguards to protect the stability and availability of the Service. We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe the Service is being abused or used in violation of this policy.
